June Brasserie Branding on Friday Likes by Brand New - IntroJune is a restaurant and cocktail bar in Vancouver, BC, operating as a brasserie blending French and West Coast influences. The identity, designed by local firm Best Studio, leads with a delightful, custom wordmark that features some dramatic flares and an Art Nouveau lite aesthetic. Aside from a few charming illustrations, the identity is deceptively simple, using a simple color palette of maroon and off-white to achieve a lot. The piece de resistance, though, is the custom embroidered tie with a stacked variation of the logo and it’s got my emotions all tied up in a knot.
