Meet The Lbstr: A Filmmaker-Strategist duo who aren’t your typical marketers, they’re passionate storytellers at heart. Through a deeply collaborative process, they extract the most compelling truths, relatable insights, and engaging narratives to bring brands, ideas, and films to life. For Best, our challenge was bringing their brand to life in the most authentic way possible.
Since the love of film brought the two together, we used that to build the foundation of our design. Inspired by movie scripts and the way they become personalized, worn in, covered in handwritten notes – we likened that passion to the art of what The Lbstr does, crafting compelling, creative strategy.
We used strong type in structured blocked layouts to mimic the feel of credits rolling or critic reviews on posters. The Lbstr logo itself was inspired by classic typesetting with a subtle nod to vintage poster design.

Our shared love of film is what led us here. In fact,
much of our process is mirrored after the art of
filmmaking itself. We seek to deeply understand each
subject, tell a compelling story, and captivate
an audience – all while never losing sight of the plot.
